1. Purpose
The purpose of this AUP is to ensure that all users of the Platform use Brijik CRM responsibly, lawfully, and in a manner
that protects the security, integrity, and availability of our services and the rights of other users and third parties.
2. Definitions
- User(s), you, your: Individuals, organizations, or authorized representatives who access or use the Platform.
- Customer(s): Businesses that have subscribed to our Platform.
- Personal Information: Any data that can identify an individual as defined in our Privacy Policy.
3. Permitted Use
Subject to your agreement with us and applicable law, you may use the Platform to:
- Manage leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and other legitimate business data.
- Conduct lawful business communications and customer engagement activities.
- Store and analyze business data required for your commercial operations.
- Collaborate with teammates and authorized third-party integrations within the scope of your subscription.
4. Prohibited Activities
You must not, and must not permit others to, use the Platform (including APIs and integrations) to engage in any of the following:
A. Illegal or Unlawful Conduct
- Use the Platform to commit, facilitate, or promote illegal activities, including fraud, money laundering, or terrorist activities.
- Store, transmit, or process personal data in a manner that violates applicable data protection laws or the rights of data subjects.
B. Harmful or Malicious Activities
- Introduce or distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, spyware, or any other harmful code.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, systems, or networks (including brute-force attempts, credential stuffing, or exploitation).
C. Abuse of Platform Resources
- Perform actions that disrupt service availability (e.g., DDoS, excessive automated scraping, or resource exhaustion).
- Use the Platform for hosting or distributing adult content, pirated material, or gambling operations unless explicitly permitted by contract and law.
D. Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Send bulk unsolicited commercial messages, phishing, or deceptive marketing through the Platform without appropriate consent.
E. Intellectual Property and Privacy Violations
- Upload, share, or use content that infringes third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
F. Sensitive Data
Do not upload or store sensitive personal data (e.g., Aadhaar numbers, health records, highly sensitive financial data) on the Platform
unless you have a lawful basis, have taken appropriate technical and contractual safeguards, and your subscription supports such processing.
5. Content Standards
All content uploaded, posted, or transmitted via the Platform must comply with applicable laws and the following standards:
- Respectful and non-discriminatory language; no hate speech, threats, or harassment.
- No defamatory or knowingly false statements about a person or entity.
- Proper attribution and lawful rights to share any third-party materials.
6. Security & User Responsibilities
As a User you must:
- Keep account credentials confidential and use strong, unique passwords and where available, multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Promptly notify us at support@brijik.com if you suspect a security incident, breach, or compromise of your account.
- Ensure that data you upload complies with applicable laws and that you have necessary consents for personal data processing.
- Ensure integrations and third-party apps you connect are trustworthy and authorized by your organization.
7. Monitoring, Investigations & Cooperation
We reserve the right to monitor activity, investigate suspected violations, and take appropriate action. Where necessary, we may:
- Collect and review logs, account activity, and content to investigate abuse or security incidents.
- Work with law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties when required by law or to prevent harm.
8. Enforcement & Consequences
When this AUP is violated, we may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the offending account(s) or access to the Platform.
- Delete or block access to content that violates this AUP.
- Pursue legal remedies, and report illegal conduct to appropriate authorities.
- Recover any costs incurred by us in addressing the violation (including investigation and remediation costs) where permitted by contract or law.
9. Amendments
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the
Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the amended AUP.
